2008.1. 11 It sounds like you’re not;honoring your word again.  A: Can you join the alumni association tonight? 오늘 밤 동창회에 오실 수 있습니까? B: I have a plan to hold an important meeting in the evening. 저는 오늘 저녁에 중요한 회의가 예정되어 있습니다. A: It sounds like you’re not honoring your word again. 또 약속을 지키지 않으려는 듯이 들립니다.    B: But I will try to go to the association. 하지만 동창회에 참석하기 위해 노력할 겁니다.    상대방이 약속을 자주 깨뜨리는 경우에 “또 약속을 지키지 않으시려 하는군요”라는 말로 “It sounds like you’re not honoring your word again.”이라는 표현을 사용할 수 있습니다.
